Any Work that Wanted Doing

This exhibition brings together disabled people’s voices from the past and present, highlighting their contributions to history and contemporary culture.

Disabled artists have created eight new artworks in response to the hidden histories of disabled mill workers. These are displayed amongst the museum’s collection of textile machinery.

Any work that wanted doing is curated by Gill Crawshaw and supported by Leeds 2023.
