Admission to the house is free for Leeds Max Card holders and members of the Leeds Art Fund, Friends of Leeds City Museums, the Museums Association, HHA members and the National Arts Collection Fund.

Area restrictions

Occasionally access to some areas of the House is restricted due to weddings or private events. Restricted area signage will be visible around the House on affected days.

Bus

First bus numbers 19 and 19A run to Whitkirk, 1 mile from Temple Newsam.

Rail

Temple Newsam is located 1.9 miles from Cross Gates train station, an approximate 35 minute walk.

Driving and parking

From the M1 take junction 46. There is paid on-site parking available in the patrolled house car park.
