Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
Temple Newsam is now closed to vehicle access for visitors in order to comply with Government guidance stating that you should not be travelling in a vehicle to another location to exercise. Temple Newsam House, Home Farm, playground, Courtyard Café and Mrs Pawson’s Shop are closed as of 17 March until the end of April, in line with national guidance around managing the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The grounds remain open and admission has been temporarily suspended. We strongly advise everyone to follow Government advice in relation to social distancing measures, staying a minimum of 2 metres apart from others, and to significantly limit your social interaction with others at this time.
Please follow our social media channels for the latest updates, information and stories around our collections and the work that we do.
We thank you for your continued support, and look forward to welcoming you back.
