ONLINE EXHIBIT
Uncover the untold tales behind the greatest creative innovators of our time. From Scootacars to steam engines and space food to Spirograph, explore the inventions which shaped Leeds; the City of 1,000 Trades. Featuring objects and stories from great inventors both past and present, including Washington Teasdale, famed for creating what may have been Leeds’ first ‘selfie’!
WEEKLY MEET-UP
The Spinners of Aire are an open group that meet in the museum every Wednesday from 10am-2pm. Join our drop-in sessions for spinners of any level, even total beginners! No need to call ahead, just come along and the spinners will teach you.
