Join researchers Jane, Lucy and Anna for a talk on women collectors and curators. They will explore the contributions women have made to the history, ethos and collections of Leeds City Museum.
We’ll be visiting prehistoric seas, ancient Cyprus and medieval Northumbria to re-appraise the role of women in the history of our Museum.
This is a FREE talk and everyone is welcome to join.
Don’t miss our current special exhibition celebrating 200 years of Leeds Museums & Galleries told through different themes and stories from volunteers.
Each weekend we will be hosting character-led talks in the galleries to delve even further into the fascinating history of our city.
