This free talk explores the developments in housing in Leeds and its suburbs from the early nineteenth century to the present day. The talk will also look at the impact of slum clearance and housing programmes on the city’s communities.

The talk will be given by Sophia Lambert, one of the volunteers that co-produced the 200th birthday exhibition now on at Leeds City Museum.

After the talk visit the brand new exhibition in the Special Exhibitions gallery on the third floor.
