Sensory Storytime with the Museum
20 January 2021
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Venue Leeds City Museum
We’re bringing our sensory storytime for families into your homes. We will explore the museum animals with our senses!
Join Natalie from Leeds City Museum as she leads you on an adventure to find out about some very mysterious animal bones. We’ll go on a scavenger hunt (in your home!) to find simple things to touch and explore with our senses… bringing the animals to life in our imaginations. We will watch, hear and live-pause an animated story written and drawn by Leeds children. Will you take a sip from the swamp with the woolly mammoth? (shhh, we’ll really use a bowl of water).
Approx. 30 minutes
Suggested age: 2-8 years. All ages welcome. We aim to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
When booking, please check the guidelines for the session in your confirmation email. There will be lots of families in the zoom call so it is optional to have your camera on/off.
Session delivered through Zoom. We will email the zoom login details to you the day before the session. You don’t need to have the app, you can join from a web browser.
