Thomas Chippendale was one of the most important furniture makers in British history. Born in Yorkshire, he went on to achieve an international reputation and craft some of the finest examples of 18th century cabinet-making. Temple Newsam is home to the Chippendale Society’s collection, a treasure trove of beautiful Chippendale creations. Learn more on this fascinating tour.
