At a Death Café people come together to drink tea, eat cake, and discuss death. The aim is to increase awareness of death and help people make the most of their lives.

A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Death Café are always offered:

– On a not for profit basis

– In an accessible, respectful and confidential space

– With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action

Free and all welcome to join.

This event is part of our series of Living with Death exhibition events at Leeds City Museum.

The exhibition is gratefully sponsored by Co-op Funeralcare.

Trigger warning – the exhibition deals with themes that some people may find difficult.
