Playground for under 5s and their carers
Are you the companion of someone under 5? Bring them along to Playground at Leeds Art Gallery, our free creative event for little ones and their carers.
This time students Bethan and Lucy have shaped a play space inspired by the square format photography used by Peter Mitchell whose works are on display in our latest exhibition, Nothing Lasts Forever. Expect to find lots of different squares inviting sensory experiments, collage, printing, and painting. Explore and discover together what happens when you experiment with different tools and methods to create your own unique artwork.
Free, drop in. The activity takes place in Artspace, our relaxed, family friendly, creative space in the heart of the gallery.
Make sure you come along in clothes easily washed, as we will get messy!
Explore our permanent collection and temporary exhibitions set amongst the stunning architecture of our unique gallery spaces at Leeds Art Gallery.
