This summer, Temple Newsam House bursts into bloom with Plant Power!

A vibrant, family-friendly summer celebrating the wonderful world of plants. From towering trees to tiny seeds, discover how plants shape our lives, our history, and our future.

Enjoy an interactive plant trail, explore the house with a fun, educational trail designed for curious minds of all ages.  Get stuck in with plant themed crafting activities — perfect for little green thumbs! Whether you're a budding botanist or just love a good day out, Plant Power! offers a unique blend of nature, history, and fun — all set in the stunning surroundings of one of Leeds’ most iconic historic houses.,

From the amazing floral displays in the Walled Garden, to the quiet shade of the woodland habitat in the further reaches of the estate. We'll be exploring the role of plants on the farm and finding out how our new wildflower meadows support butterflies, bees and other pollinators. Look out for activities on the farm, estate and in the Walled Garden throughout the summer.

Come grow with us this summer — only at Temple Newsam!

Drop-in activities daily in the House.

Included with Admission. Suitable for all ages.
