Join the Butterfly Conservation team to learn about moths and see moths which live in Temple Newsam!

As part of the Leeds Wild Spaces Project, Butterfly Conservation in collaboration with Leeds City Council
has established a one hectare wildflower meadow at Temple Newsam.

Join us to learn about the Leeds Wild Spaces Project and take part in Moth trapping. This is where a safe
light and box are left out overnight to attract moths, we can then view them in the morning and safely
release them back to the wild.

You will hopefully get to see species you wouldn't get the opportunity to do so normally, and learn about
moths too!

The event is early morning to ensure that the moths can be released before it gets too warm in the day.

This event is weather dependent for the safety of the moths.

This event is suitable for all ages and skills!

The exact meeting point and further information will be sent to you via email on the day of the event.
