SEND relaxed general admission

New for 2026. Relaxed mornings at Lotherton for neurodivergent visitors and for those with additional needs that enjoy a calmer experience. Lotherton welcomes everyone but we understand it can be very busy and overwhelming during events and weekends.

We want to encourage all visitors to enjoy the whole of Lotherton, so we will be opening our doors a little earlier each month for those that need a quieter space to explore. Whether you are an autistic visitor or family with various sensory and learning needs, join us on the 9th of each month from 9am to 10am, where you can enjoy Wildlife World Zoo and the House museum without the crowds.

We will be limiting tickets and keeping any loud and flashing interactives to a minimum, but the animals may still be a little noisy! Relaxed openings tickets are at no additional cost but must be booked alongside general admission or membership tickets.

Lotherton is mostly accessible for those with mobility needs with some physical restrictions in the House. Please see our Access Pages for more details.
