Follow our festive trail at Home Farm, take part in family crafts and drop in to our cosy storytelling sessions.

Join our alternative festive trail tell the story of Home Farm’s rich history at Temple Newsam throughout December!

Our festive trail of the farm will take you round the different areas to see different trees which tell the story of the buildings and the people who've worked here through the ages. Don’t miss the interactive points which encourage you to get stuck in to farming life and find out what it is like to be part of a working farm.

Festive crafts

Midweek crafts in the Joiner’s Shop, just drop in.

Storytelling

3 & 10 December, 1 – 2pm
17 December, 11am – 12pm

Come along and get settled by the fire in the Joiner’s Shop for our storytelling sessions.

Please note: Home Farm is not open on Mondays during term time. It is open on Monday 23 December.
