Car parking 2026

From Tuesday 26 May 2026 Leeds Industrial Museum’s main carpark will be closed for essential sewage works being undertaken by Yorkshire Water as part of their Storm Alliance project across Yorkshire. These works are expected to last 10 months, continuing into Spring 2027, and aim to improve the cleanliness of the river Aire. More information on alternative car parking can be found on the Visit Us page.

Museum grounds, engine shed and access to locomotives

Please note, there is currently no access to the museum grounds, engine shed and locomotives in our collection due to ongoing building and maintenance work.
