Our supporters

We are fortunate to be directly supported by a number of individual membership charitable organisations.

These groups support us by funding object and art purchases, conservation projects and special exhibitions, and it was the collections built up by the members of the Leeds Philosophical and Literary Society (LPLS) in the 19th century that became the core of the present Leeds collections.
