Learn about changes in technology and lifestyle in Britain from the stone age through to the invasion of the Romans (43AD).

How did Britain change from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age and then to the Iron Age? How do we know when there were no written records? We'll look at how Archaeologists work and the evidence left by the original people of Yorkshire, from tools to farming.

This workshop also includes a tour of our store where we care for over 1 million objects.

Recommended ages 6-14 years. Please book a ticket for all children 6 years and over (£5 per ticket). If you are bringing younger siblings, please email discovery.centre@leeds.gov.uk so we can check that we have space. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
