Tea rooms and shops at Temple Newsam
Tea Rooms
The Tea Rooms are open daily serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and sweet treats for the whole family.
We source most of our menu locally, with meat coming from our own farm, and Yorkshire Tea on tap.
We have plenty of seating indoors and out in the courtyard area. Feel free to bring your dog to sit in the courtyard whilst you enjoy a break in the historic surroundings.
We regularly update our menu with seasonal dishes, and offer a wide variety for adults and children to enjoy.
Keep an eye on our social media for special offers.
Our Tea Rooms made history as the first café in Leeds City Council to include the carbon footprint of some items on its menu. This is part of our commitment to reduce our carbon impact and you can read more about what we’re doing here.
Shop at Temple Newsam
We have three shops at Temple Newsam with plenty to browse including gifts, homewares, souvenirs, toys, books and more.
In the House the shop is at the main entrance and you don't need to buy a ticket to visit. We stock a range of products which are inspired by the House, along with a selection of toys and ice creams.
Mrs Pawson's shop in the courtyard offers a range of souvenirs for all ages, including books, toys and wool. We sell locally sourced products from plants to teas, biscuits, beer and yummy Yorkshire ice-cream.
Buying locally helps to support the estate.
