Join us for a store tour and family crafts, plus meet our Assistant Curator of Natural Science to get close to our moth collection as we celebrate their hidden beauty during National Moth Week.

  • A guided tour of our incredible museum store - filled with over 1 million objects from all over the world
  • Family-friendly crafts and activities - design your own moth wing, inspired by the real ones on display!
  • Get close to some of our collection of marvellous moths with curator Aimee

Butterfly Conservation will be here with a pop up stall to talk all things moths and butterflies, with some takeaway activities too.

Join in the big butterfly count, taking place from the 17 July - 9 August, and celebrate National Moth Week at Leeds Discovery Centre!

Visitor Information

Leeds Discovery Centre is on the South-East edge of Leeds City Centre, 0.1 mile away from Leeds Dock and Royal Armouries Museum, 1.1 miles away from Leeds Train Station.

There is a free car park on site for visitors, accessible from Sayner Lane.
