Available daily during school holidays, and Mon, Weds, Fri and weekends year-round, two lucky people can book to have a VIP audience with these most adorable of animals.

This Keeper-led experience will get you up close and personal with our beloved Capys, learning all about their natural habitat, conservation status and personal quirks and habitats.

Come and meet our happy Capybaras

You’ll start your experience by meeting at our animal experience check-in in the Wildlife World shop, where you will be given your VIP wristband and full safety briefing by your personal Wildlife World Keeper.

Then, the fun really begins as you enter the experience arena…

Our resident Capybaras Carly and Brian will be ready and waiting as you take charge of feeding time. Enter the enclosure and meet them for their 2.30pm lunch.

Your dedicated Keeper will share fascinating facts about the Capybaras along the way, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

The Capybara Experience is available daily during school holidays, and Mon, Weds, Fri and weekends year-round (from September 2025).

Sensible closed cap footwear suitable for adverse ground conditions must be worn.

Customers are advised to dress according to weather conditions.

Minimum participation age 10. One child per adult.
