Explore Leeds’s contribution to clothing manufacturing during the Second World War, through a curatorial led look at a selection of garments from our collections.

We’ll look at everything from the demob suits handed to servicemen as they left the armed forces, at the end of the war to civilian clothing made under the utility scheme.

Kitty Ross, Leeds History Curator will also give a short talk on World War II service personnel from Leeds alongside personal objects and correspondence.

This event is pay what you can. We don't want price to be a barrier to a great experience. Simply pick the price you can pay and enjoy your visit.
