Early Years Atelier

Each season The Play Tent makes a relaxed playful spaces for creative discovery and experimentation inspired by art in a gallery. Come along with your young person and get up close to artworks, meet different materials and ideas and be playful together alongside others doing the same.

We warmly welcome under 5s and their adults to join our Atelier early years art sessions within the gallery. These are relaxed, friendly art and play sessions designed to offer you and your under 5's a space to be curious, creative and make connections within the gallery.

Our sessions begin in the exhibition space and move up to Central Court, which is a stunning bright, airy space on the first floor, in the heart of the gallery.

We emphasise that young children are welcome to 'come as they are'! We celebrate the whole child: vocals, movements and ideas!

All under 5s, at all developmental stages, are very much welcomed.
