Inspiring creative session in the gallery for under 5s and their carers.

We warmly welcome under 5s and their adults to join our Atelier early years art sessions within the gallery.

In the Atelier very young people will be given the time, space and resources to explore their creativity inspired by artworks on display and the practice and pedagogy of Reggio Emilia.

Atelier has at it’s heart a strong belief in the competency and capability of young children. Each session will offer the young attendees an opportunity to be curious, notice and undertake their own artistic research.

They will be immersed in process-led activity, with no predetermined outcomes led by Victoria Lungu, an experienced early years Atelierista.

All under 5s, at all developmental stages, are very much welcomed.
