Join us for a creative writing session at Leeds Discovery Centre, with objects on display to spark inspiration and curiosity.

This creative writing session is for anyone who wants to write fiction, non-fiction, plays or poems and is open to all – whether you’re an absolute beginner or a more regular writer.

We will discuss writing practice and techniques, and do some short writing exercises to help develop your skills in a supportive environment. You won’t be expected to share your work or bring anything with you, simply come along and take part.

As part of the session you will also have the opportunity to tour our museum store, which holds over 1 million objects from Leeds Museums and Galleries collections.

Tickets are priced at £25 per workshop.

Please note, tickets will go off sale at 11pm the Thursday before each workshop, so we can prepare based on numbers.
