Please excuse our appearance - though the exterior of the gallery is currently scaffolded for essential building works, we're still open as normal.
Access information
Due to building works, there is currently no ramp access to Leeds Art Gallery.
Lift access is available via Leeds Central Library’s entrance on The Headrow where it is possible to take the lift to access the Tiled Hall Café and Leeds Art Gallery.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Admissions
Leeds Art Gallery is now a Give What You Can gallery. We invite visitors to donate to support the gallery if they are able.
Donations can be made via our Tap to Give donations points on arrival or during your visit with contactless, Chip and Pin, cash and coins.
The suggestion donation amount is £5 per person.
Group visits
All groups are welcome at Leeds Art Gallery. A group is 10 or more adults coming together for a visit or trip.
Organised groups of 20 or more people must contact us before their visit via email: art.gallery@leeds.gov.uk
School groups should visit our learning workshops webpage, or contact lmg_learning@leeds.gov.uk to book a self-led visit.
Guided tours are available to be booked in advance by contacting us by phone or email.
Leeds Art Gallery is a Give What You Can gallery. The suggested donation amount is £5pp, which applies to groups.

15 minute walk from the city centre bus station. -

10 minute walk from Leeds Railway Station. -
Parking
On street parking is located nearby on Cookridge Street. Secure car parking is available in Woodhouse Lane, The Light, Merrion Centre and Rose Bowl car parks, a 5-10 minute walk away. -
Drop-off points
Alexander Street is a good point to access the pedestrianised Victoria Gardens. If you are arriving by coach or minibus, there are drop off bays for coaches on Great George Street.
