Visit our temporary Sensory Nook for a moment of calm in the Museum

We are hosting a Sensory Nook from 6 October 2026. This is a quiet, enclosed space designed to help reduce sensory overload and offer visitors a moment of calm.

The Nook will be located in the Voices of Asia gallery, though we may move it to different areas of the museum as we test where it best supports visitors.

We kindly ask that priority for using the Nook is given to neurodivergent visitors and anyone with sensory needs.

You can find out more about Sensory Nooks and how they support wellbeing.

The Nook will be available for approximately four weeks from 6 October 2026.

Please take a moment to complete the short evaluation on the device outside the Nook. Your feedback helps us understand how well the space is working for visitors.
