Tantric meditation with the Hindu Goddess Durga, using mindful awareness, visualisation and mantra for this year's Mindfulness Festival.

During this session you will be guided in a Tantric meditation practice of the Hindu goddess Durga, using mindful awareness, visualisation, and mantra. A loving yet powerful form of the Divine Feminine, Durga is depicted as a radiant warrior goddess seated upon a lion. She embodies the strength, courage, and protective power that help us overcome difficulty, fear, negativity, and life's challenges. Her practice is accessible to both beginners and experienced meditators, supporting resilience in daily life while providing a strong foundation for deeper meditation. The session is led by Zeenat Cameron of Rajeshwari Tantra, Leeds, an initiate and teacher in the Hindu Shakta Tantra tradition.

The session is part of the 2026 Leeds Mindfulness Festival at Kirkstall Abbey and Abbey House Museum.
