Cellar Scares

Cellar Scares is an immersive, actor‑led experience where costumed characters spin chilling tales before leading the group down into the shadowy cellars - lit only by torches and unsettling glimmers of light.

As the story unfolds, you’ll follow a long, eerie corridor lined with set‑dressed rooms, gruesome discoveries and strange figures lurking in the gloom.

Expect screams, surprises, and moments that will stay with you long after you’ve escaped back into the daylight.

Be sure to book your cellar scare in advance to avoid disappointment.

Purchase your general admission tickets and there will be the option to add Cellar Scares on for just £5 extra per person.

Important information

Access to and from the cellar is via stairs only. The space is dark with uneven floors. This event is not suitable for children under 12, and all under‑16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

You will be entering the cellars, which are dimly lit and designed to be frightening. If you or anyone in your group is sensitive to scary environments, this may not be the right option. No refunds will be given.

The tour includes the use of strobe lighting, loud noises and jump scares.
