Four Forty Theatre tackle A Midsummer Night’s Dream with their trademark mix of irreverence, wit, and theatrical ingenuity. Lovers are enchanted, fairies feud, and a troupe of hapless players rehearse their way into disaster — all in a single moonlit night.

Celebrated for inventive staging, breakneck character changes, and playful dismantling of tradition, Four Forty breathe fresh mischief into Shakespeare’s best-loved comedy. The result is part affectionate homage, part riotous reinvention: clever, chaotic, and utterly alive. It’s a Dream performed with wit turned sharp and imagination turned loose — Shakespeare, but with Four Forty’s unmistakable spirit driving the mayhem.


Picnics welcome as the cafe closes at 4pm.
Please bring your own chairs and blankets and prepare for adverse weather.
