Visit Home Farm as we gear up for Spring and welcome our new born lambs, piglets and other farm animals! 

There will be crafts in the Joiner's Shop, a trail round the farm, and you might even be able to feed some of the animals! Keep an eye on our events page and social media for animal encounter days.

Animal encounters

Our team will be on hand every day with different animal encounters including feeding the lambs, hearing about our rare breeds, stroking the guinea pigs, and seeing our tiny fluffy chicks! Check the blackboard on your visit to find out what is happening that day.

Home Farm is Temple Newsam's working conservation farm, and is one of the largest rare-breed centres in Europe. See animals up close, spot our team working hard around the farm, and have a go on our interactive stations to find out what its like to be part of a farm.
