Relaxed Father Christmas at Temple Newsam

Temple Newsam House transforms into a Christmas wonderland where Father Christmas himself awaits to make your family's experience unforgettable! 

All audio will be turned down and you can borrow ear defenders (limited availability). We also have quiet rooms available, ask a member of our team on the day. Less tickets are available than our other Father Christmas experience, so the house will be less busy.

There will be a flexible approach to how your family wants to explore the house and visit Father Christmas. Please let staff know if you have any additional requirements that could make your visit more enjoyable and they will try to assist you.

Explore the beautifully decorated House with Christmas trees adorning the rooms and traditional garlands, transporting you back to the festivities Temple Newsam experienced over the past 500 years.

Families are invited to join in our festive crafts and activities, dress up like our former residents, and discover how the servants got the House ready for Christmas.

There will be fewer families in the House, and smaller groups visiting Father Christmas and Mrs Claus.
