Our Relaxed Christmas at Temple Newsam event welcomes families who might benefit from a quieter and less busy experience.

Explore the beautifully decorated House with Christmas trees adorning the rooms and traditional garlands, transporting you back to the festivities Temple Newsam experienced over the past 500 years.

Families are invited to join in our festive crafts and activities, dress up like our former residents, and discover how the servants got the House ready for Christmas.

There will be fewer families in the House, and smaller groups visiting Father Christmas and Mrs Claus.

All audio will be turned down and you can borrow ear defenders (limited availability). We also have quiet rooms available, ask a member of our team on the day.
