Café temporary closure

We apologise that the Herbarium Café is closed for a little while as we have fewer members of staff than usual. The rest of the museum remains open during normal opening hours.

Leeds City Museum Herbarium Café

Step into our botanical Herbarium Café in Leeds city centre.

Our museum café has recently been refurbished and features inspiration from Leeds Museums and Galleries botany collections throughout the interior.

We are currently serving a limited  selection of drinks, cakes and snacks whilst we refine our wider menu.

The Herbarium Café is a great space to bring children too, with plenty of space for your buggy, rucksack, favourite toy… and anything else you might need!

On brighter days we offer outdoor seating and a great location for admiring the impressive architecture of Millennium Square.

The café is currently closed as we have fewer members of staff at the museum. We are sorry for the inconvenience but appreciate your patience during this time.
