Discover the wonder of peatlands through the mosses that grow there.

Why are peatlands so wet? How do mosses act like a sponge? And why are they so important? Find out all this and more!

Join the Yorkshire Peat Partnership take over the It Takes A Community Activity space to look at different mosses up close. These tiny plants are more than meets the eye!
Build your own mini bog using real mosses to take home and care for, or get creative at our pom-pom station and make your very own moss using wool.
