For six glittering weeks, Lotherton becomes somewhere else entirely. The world softens. The trees glitter. Stories you thought you'd forgotten come back to you all at once.

A whole estate dressed for the season. The Hall in its Edwardian finery, every room a small wonder. The formal gardens lit from end to end. A walk through Captain's Wood where the much-loved Twelve Days of Christmas come to life. Tiny houses in the rockery where the fairies live.

When you need to stop and catch your breath, the Courtyard has hot drinks, warm food, and a market worth a proper look. Then carry on. Because somewhere just beyond it all, there's a secret village, where the elves are busy, and a path that leads, if you follow it carefully, all the way to the North Pole.

PLEASE NOTE: After Christmas there will be no Santa, Elf Crafts, Marshmallow or Magic Shows but you can explore the festive walk, fairy dell, decorated house, Yuletide Yurts and grounds…there may even be some cheeky elves to find!
