Come and celebrate the arrival of spring at Killingbeck Meadows with a bioblitz exploring the wildlife, plants and nature of this special green space in East Leeds.

The Dead Plant Society has been regularly walking and exploring Killingbeck Meadows, alongside investigating the herbarium collections at Leeds Museums and Galleries. Through these walks and collections, we've been discovering more about the plants around us, their histories and the ways we connect with the natural world.

Join us for a frieendly bioblitz and recording session at Killingbeck Meadows. Using iNaturalist, we'll explore the site, spot and record the plants and wildlife we find, and share what we've been discovering through the project.

No previous experience or specialist knowledge is needed, just curiosity and an interest in the natural world!

Free, drop-in.
