Spirograph Workshop: Create Art with Code!

Join us for a hands-on creative workshop where art meets technology! In this fun and accessible session, families will explore the world of Spirograph patterns — those mesmerising loops and swirls — by using simple computer coding.

Who’s it for?
This workshop is designed for families with children aged 8+. No prior coding experience needed. Younger children will use Scratch, a colourful drag-and-drop coding platform, while older kids and adults can experiment with Processing, a powerful visual coding tool.

  • What will we do?
Learn about the maths and design behind Spirographs
  • With age-appropriate activities for younger and older participants, everyone will discover how simple code can create stunning spiral art — from playful basics to intricate designs.
  • Save and print your creations to take home!
  • A great way to try coding together as a family
  • Encourages creativity, logic, and playful experimentation
  • Everyone leaves with digital (and possibly printed!) artwork

These workshops are for families to participate in together. Please book a ticket per child. Accompanying adults don’t need a ticket. Ticket price: Give What You Can.
