Plant Dreaming: A Leeds Art Gallery Late

On the eve of the Spring Equinox, join us at the art gallery for a very special late opening event, rooted in the visions and ideas of current exhibition Plant Dreaming: An exhibition of works about plants, and their real and imagined histories.

• Clay workshop with Aliyah Hussain, inspired by her works on display in the exhibition
• Herbarium sheet making with The Dead Plant Society
• Discussion of Henri Fantin-Latour's Pink Roses
• Willow stick painting in Central Court
• Kora performance from John Haycock
• 'Sowing for summer colour' with Yorkshire Kris
• Short film screenings
• Botanical cocktails and plant-based dishes in The Tiled Hall Cafe.**
• Evening viewing of exhibitions Plant Dreaming and 'Don’t Let’s Ask For the Moon..': Nocturnes and Atkinson Grimshaw
• After hours shopping in the Leeds Art Gallery shop
