Owl Pellet Dissecting Workshop

Leeds City Museum
Thu 20 Aug Multiple times
Thu 20 Aug

Science Workshop for families aged 7+ all about owl pellets

Come and look through owl pellets with us. Owls can't digest bones and fur and so they spit it all out in a pellet. We will be having a look through some to see what they've been eating. Have a go at identifying bones and being a true wildlife detective what the owl has been eating. Please note this activity uses real owl pellets. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For ages 7+

PLEASE let us know if you have a ticket and can no longer make it, so we can release the space to another family, as we are preparing a set number of resources, and sourcing Owl pellets for this special event. You can phone us on the day if you can't make it. Thank you

This event is part of the museum’s ‘Step into the Game’ summer holidays to link with the immersive Trivial Pursuit trail in Leeds city centre. You can find the Trivial Pursuit hub in the central hall of the museum throughout the summer.
