Book tickets for Northern Lights Leeds at Temple Newsam Estate, Leeds' premier light trail.

Get tickets for Leeds most illuminating festive attraction; the immersive Northern Lights Leeds, held in the grounds of the Grade I-listed landmark Temple Newsam.

Set among heritage gardens and picturesque woodlands at Temple Newsam, Northern Lights will take visitors on a jaw-dropping journey through a spectrum of illuminations & unique musical compositions.
 
Approximately one mile long, the trail will host up to 14 distinct illuminated zones featuring interactive elements and immersive soundtracks that combine to create an otherworldly sensory experience.

There will be a magical Christmas Village serving a wide range of festive fare, from 21 November until 31 December 2025.

Please note: This event is not run or managed by Temple Newsam or Leeds City Council.

Christmas Evenings in the House

New for 2025 - join us for a late night opening on 18 or 19 December to explore the house with our Christmas Tree Trail, whilst the illuminations stream through the windows from Northern Lights. Tickets sold separately.
