Join us for a creative hands-on workshop where you will turn drawings into sound. This session is fun, accessible, and perfect for anyone who enjoys making things and experimenting with sound.

Using Bare Conductive Electric Paint you will paint simple circuits, connect them to a Touch Board, and create your own musical patterns and sound effects. You will also record audio on iPads to build unique sound pieces inspired by the museum and its Music Leeds Us exhibition.

No experience needed!

Age guidance:

The morning session will be most suitable for children aged 6-11 years.

The afternoon session will be most suitable for children aged 12-14 years.

Duration: 90 minutes

Students need to be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. Please book a ticket per child/young person.

Please email city.museum@leeds.gov.uk to let us know any SEN/SEMH details of your group and suggestions of any adjustments we could make. Please aim to arrive at the museum at least 10 minutes before the workshop starts.
