Family workshops featuring large scale drawing inspired by Lynette Yiadom Boakye.

Come along and get creative in a big way during the half term school holiday. Inspired by Lynette Yiadom Boakye’s charcoal drawings of people, this four day project for families will use the human body to fill a room with a community of mysterious human-like paper sculptures.

Drop-in and have a go at wrapping family members in huge pieces paper and using charcoal, conti crayon, and thick pencils to mark the creases that form, representing the shape and scale of being human. Families will have a chance to explore and be creative together.

This activity is part of the Big Draw Festival, a global celebration of drawing and creativity throughout October 2025.

Drop-in, no need to book. Admission: Give What You Can at our donation points as you enter the gallery.
