Arts Award and Artsmark
Arts Award
Our eight museums and galleries are proud to be Arts Award supporters.
Leeds Museums & Galleries are offering the opportunity for pupils to gain an Arts Award Discover qualification and certificate.
This package is designed to support a recovery curriculum and the Leeds Supporting the Return to School document with activities which encourage the PACE approach of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy.
Our established approach to Arts Award is designed to promote collaboration, creativity, self-esteem and expressive communication skills.
This will all be delivered virtually through online videos, tutorials and live streaming sessions direct from one of our venues in to the classroom. Pupils will discover objects and artworks, try out arts activities and have the freedom to be expressive and creative.
Schools may choose to use the resources to support their own recovery curriculum without completing the Arts Award but certificates can only be achieved through an Arts Award centre.
