What is open?
Leeds Industrial Museum is now open. Our opening times are:
Tues-Fri: 10am-5pm (last admission 4pm)
Sat-Sun: 1pm-5pm (last admission 4pm)
Outdoor areas including the Colour Garden are also fully accessible during opening times.
Do I need to book?
We do not have a pre-booking system. Please pay on arrival. We prefer card payments but do accept cash.
We request that visitors follow the below guidance to protect everyone:
- Please wear a face covering
- Sanitise your hands at regular intervals
- Maintain social distancing
- Follow the one way visitor route. There is additional signage in place to guide you through.
We encourage everyone to bring their own hand sanitiser and all visitors must complete track and trace upon entry.
Access to Cardigan Fields
There is no access to Cardigan Fields at this present time, due to ongoing works. We are unable to confirm when the bridge will reopen.
All toilets are open for the use of museum visitors with extra cleaning measures in place. Please bring your own hand sanitiser or use the hand sanitiser provided. Please be respectful and form a socially distanced queue if there are others using the facilities.
The Palace Picture House
The Palace Picture House is open but we are not screening matinees at this present time and the seating remains closed.
Are you taking group and school visits?
We are now taking bookings for school visits and also offer virtual workshops. Please enquire for other group bookings by emailing [email protected]
Is room hire available?
Yes but we are restricting bookings to a maximum of 12 at this present time. Please email [email protected] for further information, availability and prices.
Events and Exhibitions
All onsite events are postponed until further notice. Our events programme will be published on the Leeds Industrial Museum what’s on page once confirmed.
The Leeds to Innovation exhibition is open and runs through until September 2022.
