Frequently Asked Questions

Covid-19 regulations

Please wear a face covering in enclosed spaces, unless you are exempt. This is the recommended government guidance but it isn’t mandatory.

In the interest of the health and safety of all of our staff and visitors, our staff are wearing masks.

Please make use of our hand sanitising stations and observe signage to help us to protect everyone.

Do I need to pre-book?

We do not have a pre-booking system. Entry to Leeds Art Gallery is free.

*Please note that due to the popularity of the Eileen Agar exhibition, we may need to limit visitor numbers during busier periods (including weekends and lunch times between 12-2pm). Please expect queue’s at peak times.

The ramp is open with access to the lower galleries and toilets. If you require access to the lift for the upper galleries then please see a member of the Leeds Art Gallery team who will happily be on hand to help. Lift access is via The Leeds Library Headrow entrance.

Are you taking group and school visits?

We are now offering virtual and in person school visits. For everyone’s safety we are keeping groups to a modest size and advise wearing face coverings where it is possible to do so. Please contact us for further information: [email protected]
