We aim to provide a friendly, accessible environment for all our visitors and the widest possible access to our building, exhibitions and collections.
What3Words is a location app which provides exact location points based on 3 metre squares. Every 3 metre square of the world has been given a unique combination of three words which can be shared with friends and family, emergency services and more to pinpoint locations easily.
We have provided What3Words locations for key areas of our attractions to help you navigate your visit.
There are two entrances to Leeds Art Gallery. The main entrance to the gallery is at the front of the building and is accessible via hand railed steps and a long and gradual ramp. The main entrance has two double automatic doors which open inwards. An information desk is available through the lobby in a large, open central hall.
There is an alternative entrance at a lower level ramped down to the left of the main gallery steps which is marked as wheelchair access for the library. Access to the gallery from this entrance is via the lift and then through the Tiled Hall Café. This lower entrance also provides access to the gallery shop. This entrance is also automatic. Please note this alternative entrance is temporarily unavailable.
