The Evolution of Lotherton, 1969-2019
Date(s) - 08/08/2019

Adam Toole, Assistant Curator of Lotherton and curator of the current exhibition, 50 Years in the Making, will trace the evolution of Lotherton in its years as a museum during the last half century.
On the surface Lotherton can appear to be a well-preserved time-capsule. However many changes have been made to the Hall, some subtle, some not so subtle. Additionally, an important collection of decorative and fine art has been built up alongside the contents of the house left by the Gascoignes. Join us to learn about how Lotherton has changed to become the much-loved place it is today.
