Join us for extra events and activities across the estate during the summer school holidays.
Once upon a time there was a place called Temple Newsam where hundreds of stories could be told. Join us this summer as we tell traditional tales and rhymes. Explore the house and farm and take part in themed activities and crafts.
Each Wednesday of the holiday there will be a creative family workshop in the house at 1.30pm. Please book ahead via the links below:

3 August: Balancing blackbirds inspired by Sing a Song of Sixpence
10 August: Make plasticine pictures inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk
17 August: Make clay candlesticks and teapots inspired by Beauty and the Beast
24 August: Make a mirror frame inspired by Snow White
31 August: Weave a golden coaster inspired by Rumpelstiltskin
