Sir Edward Wood, Lord Halifax, was the last member of the Ingram family who inherited Temple Newsam from Emily Meynell-Ingram in 1904. He sold the estate to Leeds City Council in 1922.  Learn about his powerful career and his legacy at Temple Newsam.

This tour will last between 1-1.5hrs. Meet in the Great Hall. Tickets cost £5 each.
