Festive Tour and Christmas Dinner

Take a festive tour of Temple Newsam House and enjoy a traditional Christmas Dinner at one of the most spectacular country estates in England. All for only £20pp!

Explore the beautifully decorated house, festively dressed for Christmas. Learn about past owners and residents, and the fascinating history of the house and collections, along with a sneak peek behind the scenes.

After your tour we will serve Christmas Dinner in the Courtyard Café with a choice of vegetarian or meat options.

Enjoy a traditional hand-carved turkey crown and lemon & thyme stuffing. The trimmings include Temple Newsam Estate pigs in blankets wrapped in a smoked streaky bacon, crispy roast potatoes, honey-roasted parsnips, buttered carrots, Brussels sprouts, and red cabbage. Of course, no Christmas Dinner would be complete without a rich turkey and stuffing gravy and a side of cranberry sauce.

Alternatively, our vegetarian main includes a sumptuous nut roast, crispy roast potatoes, honey-roasted parsnips, buttered carrots, Brussels sprouts, and red cabbage. Topped off with a velvety gravy and side of cranberry sauce.

Indulge in a choice of warm chocolate fudge cake with cream, or warm mince pie with brandy cream for afters.

Tour is approximately 1hr, with dinner served at 12pm.
