Skeleskare is our brand new evening event for families with children aged 8 and over!

Are you brave enough to visit us after hours and when our skeletons come alive? Experience Lotherton in the dark in our haunted woods and ghoulish gardens and spooky skeletown with a skeleton surprise to scare you silly around every corner.

Pre-booking a time slot is essential to secure tickets during half term, including members.

What is the recommended age range for Skeleskare?

Skeleskare is suitable for people aged 8 years and over due to the nature of the event and inclusion of live actors.

Is the house and/or Wildlife World open?

No, this event is for the grounds and gardens only, the Hall and Wildlife World will be closed.

What if I am already at Lotherton and want to come to Skeleskare?

You can buy tickets on the day at the courtyard shop. All visitors require a ticket after 5pm, including members.

Can I go to Skeleskare as part of my Lotherton membership?

All visitors require a paid ticket for Skeleskare, including members.

Can I bring my dog after 5pm?

Although dogs are welcome we do not recommend that they are brought as there are live costumed actors and elements which are intended to make visitors jump. If you do bring your dog it is essential that they are kept on a short lead at all times.

Visit Lotherton this October half term and follow the spooky skeletons trail around the estate and into the haunted house!

Dress up in your best Halloween costume and prepare to be scared as you explore the woods and seek out all of the skeletons who have made Lotherton their home.

Don’t miss the Nocturnal House in Wildlife World to see our bats in action!

Bring your little ones along for a great day out during the school holidays with plenty of spooky surprises along the way.
