This historical camp re-enactment represents British soldiers at the Battle of Rorke’s Drift, during the Zulu War. The Zulu War was a colonial war that took place in 1879 between the British Empire and Zulu Kingdom in an attempt at British territorial expansion.

The educational display, featuring a replica encampment and field hospital, will demonstrate conditions during this bloody battle which saw 11 British soldiers awarded the Victoria Cross.
